Dear Mrs Wan,

         I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to a caring teacher, Mrs Kan for taking great care of my daughter.

         I am the mother of Hayley Lee who studies in Class 5A. Hayley did not like to study Chinese and got poor Chinese quiz result. Mrs Kan encouraged my daughter to read more stories as many as she could and read aloud passages. When there was some new vocabulary, she highlighted and tried to memorize them. Last week, my daughter was invited to participate in the Chinese prose reading competition. Under Mrs Kan’s guidance, my daughter got full marks in her exam.

         Mrs Kan is a very helpful teacher. She treated my daughter with kindness and patience. She takes good care of her students, too. She has played a very important role in helping Hayley to think positively. I’m grateful that the school has trained such a friendly teacher.
