Dear Maggie,

         Hi! I am Julia. I am happy to hear from you! I am nine years old and in Primary Four. I have no brothers or sisters. I am the only child. I live with my my father and mother in Chai Wan.

         I study at St. Francis’ Canossian School in Wan Chai. I go there by school bus. There are thirty-one students in my class.

         My class teacher, Mrs. Chan, is gentle, friendly and nice. Teachers speak Cantonese in most of our lessons. In English lessons, we speak in English. In Chinese lessons, we learn in Putonghua.

         I am humorous and friendly, too. We have the same characters. I enjoy playing with friends. My favourite subjects are Music and Computer Studies. I like skipping. I skipped on Sports Day. It was fun. I like dancing, too. I like Latin dance most. I also like singing. I am a member of the school choir. I have a training session after school every Wednesday. I like playing badminton with my parents and cousins during holidays. I sometimes go shopping with them. We have the hobby! I want to be an astronomer because I like watching stars and exploring the universe.
