All Primary Five and Six students are invited to join the study tour to Cambridge during summer. Some would like to join the summer and some wouldn't. Should we join the summer study tour?

        Firstly, joining the study tour can broaden our horizons and gain more knowledge. If we join the summer study tour, it would enhance our oral and written English language skills. It would build up our confidence to communicate with local teachers and students from different backgrounds. It would definitely brush up our English. We may also learn about the local culture and history of England through the visits to museums, palaces and the historical sites.

        Secondly, we can learn to be independent if we join the summer study tour. We can learn to follow the rules and regulations and manage our personal belongings. Without the other people's help, we can learn how to overcome the difficulties and solve the problems. Besides, it may provide opportunities for us to cooperate with the others during the tour.

        On the other hand, there may be different problems. Joining the summer study tour is too expensive. Not all families can afford the fee. Besides, students may not be able to get used to the climate, food and different time zones. Adapting to a new environment is hard, they have to overcome homesickness too.

        In my opinion, although joining the summer study tour is expensive, it can broaden our horizons. The study tour will give us a fruitful experience which can inspire us to develop an interest in understanding more about different cultures. Therefore, we should join the summer study tour.
