My father, Donald Ma, was born on 7th September, 19×× in New York. He is the eldest of the three children. He has a father, a mother, a brother and a sister. His parents wanted him to be an outstanding student in English public speaking in the U. S. A.

        When Dad was at the age of five, he won in the Local School Speech Competition and at the age of six, he won in the District Speech Competition. He was the first Chinese who won the prize.

        At the age of sixteen, he represented his school to enter the National Speech Competitions. My grandparents were thrilled and proud of him.

        When he was twenty-four, he moved to Hong Kong because he fell in love with Hong Kong's stunning scenery. He also wanted to dedicate himself to helping the people in Hong Kong to speak better in public.

        In 2016, he was appointed to be a speech coach for some Hong Kong SAR government officials. Although he has not received an award yet, he was featured in Ming Pao, a renowned public newspaper, in 2018.

        Dad is very happy now because he helps people to overcome the fear of public speaking. His dream is to watch his daughter grow up to be a healthy and strong woman. 'Do what you love and love what you do' is the motto of my father.
