Dear Mrs. Wan,

I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to Miss Chan, the English teacher of Class 4C.

I am Mrs Mary Lee, the mother of Grace Lee of Class 4C. My daughter was very shy and quiet when she started her primary school. Although she achieved brilliant exam results, she was scared to talk to anybody. She was still very quiet and shy when she was promoted to P.3 and thus she has made only very few friends. Luckily, they were very close to one another. In P.4, she started to have classes with Miss Chan. Miss Chan noticed that Grace just stayed in a corner in many class activities. One day, Miss Chan told Grace to meet her at the teachers’ room. She would like to see how she can help Grace to solve her problems. Miss Chan gave Grace free “therapy” sessions. After about three months, my daughter made a large group of friends and became more outgoing and active. Grace now wears a big cheerful smile on her face.

Miss Chan has helped my daughter a lot. She is also very kind and warm. She is a very helpful teacher. I hope Miss Chan will serve in this school for many following years to teach as many students as possible.

Yours sincerely,
Mary Lee
