My Story of "The Secret Museum"

Megan Anderson was a lonely and sad girl, always being misunderstood. Everyone in town just thought that she was strange. The people called her names such as “Alien’, ‘Weirdo’ and ‘Freak’. Her father committed suicide and her mother was a drug addict. Her mother tortured Megan every day. Megan kept everything to herself, telling everyone she’s okay and telling herself that no one cared about her.
Megan never smiled in class photos, even though she’s standing between two smiling girls. Megan always wore long sleeves to cover up the memories which her scars left. Her scars were like dams. Once a scar was gone and another replaced it. Every night she cried when everyone was asleep. She felt sad in her thoughts and her eyes become blurred because of her tears. She even wanted to scream. She couldn’t breathe anymore. She had to grab her stomach to keep quiet. She’s a girl suffering from depression. She had tried many methods but none of them fixed.
One day when Megan was standing in front of her father’s grave, drowning in her thoughts, she saw a shiny thing nearby. She walked over to take a look. Megan was curious so she picked it up. When she pressed it, the ground rumbled and shook. The floor cracked open and showed a staircase. Megan went down. When Megan reached the bottom, she let out a huge gasp. There were a lot of priceless objects, such as Washington’s axe, Mother Teresa’s rosery and lots more, but they were covered in dust. Megan decided to keep this museum a secret and make it beautiful. Megan wanted this to be her private place.
Every day, Megan took cleaning tools to the museum. Unfortunately her mother found out her secret and forced her to stay at home. For once, Megan refused and her mother tortured her more than ever. But Megan’s mum knew that Megan wouldn’t give up so her mum just threw Megan out of the house. Megan knew she couldn’t live like this. She just called the police and told them about the objects and the museum.
Luckily, the police only took the objects away and as a reward, the government gave Megan ten million dollars. Megan lived in the museum happily ever after.
Like what happened in Megan’s life, everything might get bad sometimes. But if you don’t give up, you can always create your own happy ending. We should never give up no matter how hard the situation gets.
