I have read a book called Taming Tessa by Jenny Alexander.  It is an easy reading fiction.

      This book is about Ben who is always hot under the collar about Tessa’s behavior.  He talks about Tessa’s bad behavior with his parents but they tell him to make the best of things.  He often has a bone to pick with Tessa.  Tessa is rude but her parents never tame her. 

      Ben talks about Tessa during lunch at school.  His friends ask Ben to tame her.  The plan doesn’t work.  Then, Ben has a chat with Grandma.  She tells him strike while the iron is hot.  After Tessa talks about Mick, who is the apple of her eye, Ben knows what to do.  He tells Tessa that if she doesn’t change her bad behaviour, he will tell the truth to Mick.  Tessa has egg on her face!  At last, Tessa changes her behavior.  Ben was over the moon.

      From this book, I have learnt that we should have confidence.  We should always keep our chins up.  We shouldn’t do anything by halves.

      The character whom I didn’t like was Tessa.  She was bad-tempered.  She behaved badly.  If I were Tessa, I would change my behavior.

      I would like to recommend this book to my friends since they could enjoy this amusing story.  They won’t be couch potatoes then!
