On a Saturday midnight, two thieves appeared outside the department store.  One of them was short and the other was tall.  They were planning to steal from the store and sell it at a high price.  They looked around to see if there was anywhere to enter.  “Hey, this big window isn’t locked,” the tall one cried out happily as he opened the gap wider.  Both of them slipped into the store.
 They were proud of themselves for finding a way to get in. They took out some black fabric and put it on top of the CCTV.  “Now no one will find out who we are!” the short one laughed.  “Let’s start with the watch shop.  It’s the nearest,” the short one whispered and took out an axe.  He banged the display case hard until it broke.  He shove all the watches into a big bag.  “Here’s a safe here,” the tall one shouted as he found a silver safe that could fit himself inside.  He took out a bobby pin and opened the safe.  He was just about to take all the money.
 A torchlight shone on them.  “What are you doing here?” the security guard demanded.  “Spoiler!” the short thief dumped the bag on the floor.  The tall one pushed the security guard into the safe and slammed the door quickly.  “Help!” the security guard yelled hopelessly.  “That will teach him a lesson.”  They smirked.  But the security guard was smarter than they thought.  He was not scared even in this situation.  He pulled his walkie-talkie out and called the police for help.  Meanwhile, the thieves were heading for the window.
 The police sirens sounded around the department store.  The thieves were not afraid.  They jumped down from the window and escaped from the gap between the policemen.  “Catch them!” the inspector shouted worriedly.  One of the thieves looked back but he didn’t see a step in front of him so he tripped over.  The other came into a sudden stop but he couldn’t balance himself.  So he fell onto his partner.  The police saw this and arrested them easily.  After that, the security guard was rescued from the safe.  He was also given a reward for his bravery.
