Most people think that we all have our own weaknesses.  Everyone should have a chance to participate in the class and take on a leadership role at school.  Liu Dong-mei is a girl with physical impairment.  She wants to be a librarian in our school.  However, there are varied voices about this issue.  Should Liu Dong-mei be a librarian?
 Firstly, having studied in the same class with Liu Dong-mei for three years, I knew that she is a very creative person.  She always gets a grade A in Visual Arts.  She can decorate the library by her drawings.  The students will be happier reading under Liu Dong-mei’s interesting pictures.  She can also draw some pretty paintings on the chairs, on the tables and outside the corridor.  The library will be more interesting.  Therefore, I think that Liu Dong-mei can draw some drawings o decorate the library.
 Secondly, I have learnt that we should not give up easily from Liu Dong-mei.  In the PE lesson, we had to run.  Liu Dong-mei couldn’t control her muscles so she kept on falling down.  But she didn’t give up.  She stood up and ran again.  I think Liu Dong-mei can tidy the bookshelf with her wheelchair if she doesn’t give up.  She is a helpful girl too.  She can introduce the library users some books about painting.  She also can help the students return their books with someone assisting her.  Someone may think that she can’t talk properly.  But she can answer the users’ questions through her paintings. 
 However, some of my schoolmates think that Liu Dong-mei can’t be a librarian.  They think that she can’t talk properly and the users don’t know what she says if she asks them to be quiet.  The library will be very noisy.  Also, some people will think that it will be very annoying to ask someone to help her every time.  It will waste a lot of time.
 To sum up all the reasons and examples, I think that Liu Dong-mei can be the librarian of our school.
