Everyone knows that we all have our own weaknesses. Everyone should have a chance to take part in a duty at school. Liu Dong-mei is a girl with physical impairment. She wants to be a librarian in our school. However, there are varied voices about this issue. Should Liu Dong-mei be a librarian?
 Firstly, Liu Dong-mei cannot control her muscles properly. She cannot help the library users to scan the barcode labels to borrow or return books. As she needs to sit in a wheelchair, it is also hard for her to tidy up the bookshelves and the library will become messy. She cannot help keeping records of circulation or check the condition of books either. When she needs to search for information for readers, she will work very slowly and all the library users need to wait for her. Therefore, she cannot perform the duties as a librarian.
 Secondly, Dong-mei cannot talk properly. When the library users ask her some questions, they need to be very patient to her because she cannot talk quickly. And when she needs to work with other librarians in teams, her partner need to be very patient because sometimes her partner may not understand what she is saying. Also, if some students run, shout or fight in the library, a librarian needs to maintain discipline, but they may not hear what she is saying. If some students eat or drink in the library, a librarian also needs to tell them that the library is not a place for eating or drinking but is a place for reading books. However, the library users may not hear what she is saying either.
 However, some of our schoolmates may agree that Dong-mei should be a librarian. Dong-mei is willing to share and she is an outgoing and a sociable person. She is good at painting. She always shares her thoughts and feelings through her paintings. She likes to travel to different places. She likes to learn different things, too. She likes to make friends with different people. It is good to have an optimistic librarian in the library. The library users may feel that they are welcomed to visit the library.
 To sum up, although Liu Dong-mei is willing to share and she is an outgoing and a sociable person, she cannot control her muscles or talk properly. If we need to communicate with her, we need to be very patient and it will bring more disadvantages to the library. Therefore, I think Liu Dong-mei cannot be a librarian in our school.
