It was our Sports Day last Saturday. I went to Wan Chai Sports Ground with Kylie and Skyla. We were very excited.
First, Skyla and I took part in the 100-metre running race. We are in different classes but we have the same hobby. We are enthusiastic runners. Skyla is a talented athlete. She won a gold medal in the 60-metre running race last year. Finally, Skyla won the race and got a gold medal again. I got a silver medal. We were overjoyed and hugged each other.
Then, Kylie and I competed in the long jump. We are the same age but Kylie is taller than me. We are good at jumping. We had to land in the sandpit with both feet. We jumped three times. They recorded the longest jump only. We were exhausted after jumping.
At last, we both lost the competition. We were disappointed but we comforted each other. I know ‘friendship is the best’ now. I love sports.
