Hi! Maggie, I’m Gaia. I’m very excited to be your pen friend, too. I’m nine years old and in Primary Four. I have an elder sister. She is twenty-four years old. She works in Shanghai. I’m excited because she will come to Hong Kong next month. I live with my parents.
I study at St. Francis’ Canossian School in Wan Chai. There are thirty students in our class, too. Our class monitress is May. Who’s your class monitress?
My class teacher is kind and cheerful. She likes to smile and she likes telling jokes. Teachers use Cantonese in most of our lessons, too.
I’m kind and smart. My favourite subjects are Mathematics and English. I like playing the piano. I won in the piano competition last year. I like folding paper, too. I can fold birds and cars. I usually give them to my classmates. If you want one, you can tell me. I also like swimming. I have swimming lessons every Saturday morning. I like collecting stickers best. I collect many stickers in a book. I usually do my homework after school. I want to be a piano teacher when I grow up because I want to teach more children to learn playing the piano. I like to eat noodles with fish balls best. What do you like to eat best?
