My new classmate is Madeleine Chu.  She is eight years old.  She was born on 14th October, 2009.  She is tall and thin.  She is 131cm tall.  She weighs 30kg.  She has big eyes, a small nose and a small mouth.  She always wears a pair of glasses.  She is a cheerful girl.  She smiles all the time.  She is very disciplined.  She is nominated as our class monitress this year.  She is willing to help other classmates and teachers. 
Madeleine lives in Wan Chai with her father and mother.  She has no brothers or sisters.  Her father is a civil engineer.  He is humourous.  Her mother is a housewife.  She takes good care of Madeleine.  She takes her to school every day. 
Madeleine and I study at St. Francis’ Canossian School.  We are in Class 3B.  Madeleine’s class number is seven.  She goes to school on foot.  She is good at dancing.  Chinese dance is her cup of tea as it is her favourite thing to do.  She is a bookworm.  She likes reading ‘Amelia Bedelia Series’ by Herman Parish.  I love this series too.  We are going to exchange books.
