Alice and Emma were twin sisters. One day, they were walking around in the village where they lived. They saw a little house that is near their house. They wanted to get into the house to have a look. They were excited.

When Alice and Emma were going into the little house, their mother stopped them. Their mother said, “Don’t get into this house. The house is dirty. Sometimes you will hear some strange voices. Maybe there is a ghost inside. So trust me and leave.” Suddenly, someone was crying inside the little house. Alice, Emma and their mother were frightened and left in a hurry. But the twin sisters secretly decided to go there again.

The next day, Alice and Emma went there again and they heard someone was crying again. They went into the little house and found out that there was a girl with ragged clothes sitting on the floor. “What’s your name? Who are you?” asked Alice. “I’m Ann. I’m an orphan. This is my home. I live alone. Umm…Who are you?” said Ann. “We are the twin sisters. She is my elder sister, Alice, and I am Emma. Can you be our friends?” said Emma. “You ask me to be your friends! Everyone said that I was a ghost. If I can, I really want to your friends!” said Ann. Then, they became friends.

Since then, Alice and Emma always went to Ann’s house. They helped Ann to tidy and decorate her house. They always played together and shared their secrets with one another. They enjoyed all the moments when they were together.

Sometimes we need to take out our courage and be brave. We need to accept all the challenges we face. Maybe there will be an unexpected and good result awaiting us after dealing with the challenges.
