Dear Mrs. Wan,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank a caring teacher, Mrs. Li, for taking great care of my daughter.

I am the mother of Sally Lee. Sally is a new and shy P.1 student in St. Francis' Canossian School. She was a bit forlorn every time when I asked her about her school life in the beginning of the school term. Lately, I found out that making friends was not a child's play to my timid girl. Sally was scared to talk to her classmates so they detested her. Luckily, Mrs Li, who was her student guidance teacher, encouraged her to try and talk to her classmates. Now, Sally is no longer sad because she felt her classmates softened towards her, and made friends with her. She is happy with her school life now.

Last month, Sally found it trouble managing her time to do her homework in time. She pulled long faces at that situation. She asked Mrs. Li to help her. Mrs. Li was so kind and eager to help her. She made a timetable with Sally. She told Sally to follow the timetable and do things neatly. Fortunately, the plan worked and Sally beat the clock of doing her work. She also arranged her things in order. I was very delighted with that. Sometimes Sally's clothes were dirty and her school bag was filled with useless rubbish. I scolded her loudly because of the mess she made. She cried and requested Mrs. Li to help her tidy her things and clean her clothes. Instead, Mrs. Li was intelligent. She taught her how to scrub off the dirty marks on her clothes and tidy her school bag instead of helping her. Sally's clothes are now as white as snow and her bags are tidy and neat. I would like to express my thanks to her reliable teacher. Mrs. Li is such a caring and intelligent teacher. I am grateful that the school has trained such a loving teacher.

Best Regards,                                                                                                                                   Mary Lee
