How to became healthy
4A Victoria

Three years ago, I was a fat boy.  I was the fattest boy in my class.  I am 140 cm tall and 34 kg.  Mrs. Chan told me that I was unhealthy.  I liked eating candies, chocolate, chips, so I always had a sore throat.

Mrs. Chan was worried, so she asked me about my eating habits.  In the morning, I had a bar of chocolate and a glass of soya milk.  For lunch, I had a packet of chips and a bowl of rice.  For dinner, I had eight glasses of cola and a packet of candy.  I ate three scoops of ice-cream twice a week.

My mum was worried and she thought that if I always ate too much snacks, I would be overweight.  So, she took me to a clinic.  Dr. Fung was a nutritionist.  He helped me to change my diet.  In the morning, I had a glass of soya milk and a bowl of cereal.  For lunch, I had a bowl of rice, some meat and some broccoli.  For dinner, I had a bowl of rice, some meat, plenty of vegetables and some fruit.  I followed the diet.

One year later, I became fitter and stronger. I became healthier and could swim faster.  Three months ago, I won a gold medal in the Swimming Gala.  Last year, I was chosen to be the 4D’s Health Ambassador.  I felt very great.
