Dear Maggie,

Hi! I am Alvina. I am happy to hear from you. I am nine years old and in Primary Four. I have no brothers or sisters. I live in Pokfulam with my parents.

I study at St. Francis’ Canossian School. It is in Wan Chai. There are thirty-one students in our class. I am the monitress in Class 4C.
My English teacher is kind and friendly. She is also our Class teacher. She never shouts at us even if we are naughty in the class. She is as kind as an angel. Teachers use Cantonese in most of our lessons.

My favourite subjects are English and P.E.. I like playing the piano. I have piano lessons on Saturdays. I like reading storybooks, too. I can learn many beautiful words and sentences from the books. I want to be a judge when I grow up. I always go jogging and skipping with my family in the countryside at weekends. I enjoy doing outdoor activities because I like spending time with my family. I like singing after school, too. I am not good at it but I enjoy singing karaoke with my friends. It makes me feel happy and relaxed. I join the Brownies after school on alternate Fridays. I can make friends with pupils from other classes.
