Dear Maggie,

        Hello, I am Bertha.  I am happy to receive your letter.  Do you know how old I am?  We are different ages.  I am nine years old and in Primary Four.  I live in South Horizons with my family. I have a younger sister and an elder brother.  During weekends, they like to watch TV. 

    I study at St. Francis’ Canossian School.  It is in Wan Chai.  There are thirty students in our class. 

    My English teacher is humorous.  She teaches us in English in our lessons.

    My favourite subjects are P.E. and Music. I like swimming.  I like spending time with my friends.  I also like listening to music, especially classic music.  It is relaxing.  I like fishing too. I like outdoor activities.  I like gardening. It is my favourite hobby because I like planting best.  I like to read books after school.  I can gain more knowledge.  I want to be a pilot when I grow up.
