Should we join the summer study tour

All Primary Five and Six students are invited to join a summer study tour to Cambridge during summer.  Some would like to join the tour while some thought they wouldn’t.  Should we join the summer study tour?

Firstly, it is difficult for us to communicate with others in different languages.  English is our second language.  When we try to talk with others in English, they may not understand it because of the different accents different people use in conversation. Sometimes, when we want to make friends with one another, they may not think that we are friendly because of different cultures and misunderstanding.

Secondly, the tour fee maybe very expensive.  Some poor families cannot afford such a large amount of money, so students cannot join the tour even they want to join. Beside, some mean and rich classmates may laugh at those poor classmates.  This may cause some side effects.  Therefore, some students may not join this activity.

However, we can build friendship and enhance our social skills.  We can practise using foreign language to communicate with others when making new friends.  That means our social bonds will be wider.

In my opinion, I believe that not joining the summer study tour is a good choice because it would be difficult for us to communicate with others in different languages and the tour fee would be too expensive for us to afford.
