The Giving brother

Once there were twin brothers called Peter and John. Their parents died in a car accident when they were six. Since then, they became orphans and relied upon one another in a chalet. They lived arduously but still love each other very much. When the younger brother, John, was cold, Peter gave all of his clothes to him. When he was hungry, Peter gave all of the food to him. But time went by. As the younger brother grew older, Peter was often alone.

Then one day, John wanted to go to the city to broaden his horizons. The elder brother gave him some money, clothes and food. Then John set off for his destination, he went to the city. He arrived at the city after four days. What a joyful time!He was delighted that he could see so many buildings; transport, people... and he decided to live in that city forever.

And then one day, John came back to his chalet and asked for money. His brother was so happy to see him, and gave him nine thousand dollars. ‘Why do you need so much money?'Peter asked him. ‘Umm...I want to go shopping, 'he answered. Peter said that if he wanted to go shopping, nine thousand dollars were not enough, so he gave him three thousand more. After taking the money, John left and went back to the city.

After five months, John came back because of lack of food. Peter was a bit disappointed with him but he still gave John five loaves of bread, eight bags of rice, three packets of noodles and nine bottles of water. John was very satisfied with what he got but Peter felt sad.

After a long time, John went back and begged for some new suits. Peter checked his wardrobe but there was only one suit left, so Peter decided to buy one for him. He bought seven suits which cost three thousand dollars. Peter had only two hundred dollars left, one suit and three loaves of bread.

Two years later, John wanted to live with his brother and went back to his chalet. But he found out that his brother was dead of insufficient food and money. He was very ashamed of what he did before, he also regretted that he didn't cherish the time that they lived together.

In the story, Peter represents our family. When we are young, we only come back when we need help or ask for something. We shouldn't forget their sacrifices. We should cherish the people around us and give love and care to all of them.
