Can Liu Dong Mei be a librarian?

Very often, people have different opinions on having a child with disabilities learning in a normal school. Liu Dong Mei is a girl with physical impairment in my school and she is going to be a librarian. There are different voices about this issue in my school, too. Should Liu Dong Mei be a librarian?

Firstly, a physically handicapped person cannot control the muscles properly. Due to limited resources and manpower, it will be difficult for her to mobile around the library and she is unable to put the books back on the shelves which are returned by the library users. Since Dong Mei cannot control her muscles properly, it may cause traffic in the library upon borrowing and returning books.

Secondly, if students wish to search books on certain topics, Dong Mei will not be able to communicate in words properly on the requests. Most of the staff and librarians in the library are not trained to work in teams with handicapped people and that may cause communication problems and lead inefficient situation in work.
On the other hand, she can show other students positive acceptance of handicapped people working for the school. She is good at painting and may inspire the environment of the school library with different nature colours.

To sum up, having Dong Mei as our school librarian will bring more disadvantages for school and it will not be able to help her to perform merit of creativity. Therefore, I think Liu Dong Mei cannot be a librarian.
