Everyone knows that we all have our own weaknesses. Everyone should have a chance to take part in a duty at school. Liu Dong Mei is a girl with physical impairment and she wants to be a librarian in our school. There are varied voices about this issue in my school. Can Liu Dong Mei be a librarian?

        Firstly, Liu Dong Mei is very optimistic and not afraid of difficulties. Although she is severely handicapped, she tries her best to do everything. She is also willing to share her creative and wonderful paintings. They can be used to decorate the library.

        Secondly, she is very determined and happy. She may practise her paintings regularly and also do training to improve her muscle control to be a librarian and she may be also full of confidence to learn to perform the duty of a librarian, like returning books, keeping records of circulation and scanning the barcode labels.

        However, some of our schoolmates may disagree that Liu Dong Mei should be a librarian. Liu Dong Mei cannot talk properly with other people. Therefore, other members may need to help her to answer users’ questions. It may disturb other members because they need to help her perform her duty.

        To sum up, although Liu Dong Mei cannot control her muscles well and can’t talk properly, I believe she may be responsible and hard- working to be a librarian. Therefore, I think she should be the librarian of our school.
