Dear Mrs. Wan,

I am writing to make a request for holding a picnic at Jockey Club Cheung Chau Don Bosco Youth Centre for our school.

I am the chairperson of Class 5D. We would like to hold a picnic after the school examination since Jockey Club Cheung Chau Don Bosco Youth Centre is a good destination for picnic.

100 students will leave school at 9:00a.m. We will arrive at 10:00 a.m. There are a variety of facilities at the campsite including basketball court, football pitch, children rope course, barbecue sites and canteen. We can base on our interests to enjoy all the above facilities.

Besides, we can also relax at the fine white beaches by taking a 5-minure walk from the youth centre to Tung Wan Beach and Kwun Yam Beach. Then we can have a picnic there.

For transportation, it is very convenient to go to this campsite. We can take a ferry from the youth centre to Cheung Chau Centre Pier No. 5. It takes maximum an hour to be there. After the picnic, we will depart at 4:30 p.m.

We kindly ask you to grant us the permission for this activity so that we can announce the detail of the picnic as early as possible.
