Nowadays, students find it much easier to contact parents from school with their mobile phones. On the other hand, bringing mobiles to school may hinder our learning. So, is bringing mobile phones to school good for us?

Firstly, bringing mobiles to school may help us during lessons. We can use the camera function in the mobile to take photos of some notes. Therefore, we do not need to waste time to jot them down. We can save a lot of time as a result. We can also listen to the teacher’s talk carefully so that we can have a better understanding on the topic we are learning in the lessons.

Secondly, we can search on the Internet for more information and use different functions of our mobile phones to support our learning. For example, we may use the dictionary to check up the new words quickly with our mobiles in English lessons. We can also use the calculator to calculate the different sums in Maths lessons. We can even surf on the Net when we are doing our project work for further information or pictures.

However, when all the students are allowed to bring their mobile phones to school, it will cause problems. During lessons, sometimes the mobile phones will ring, it will disturb the lessons. It will also hinder our learning in return.

In my view, I believe that bringing mobile phones to school is good for us. Although it may sometimes disturb the lessons, it can be a very powerful and helpful tool if we use the mobiles properly.
