How I became healthy
4C Chilli So

Three years ago, I was very thin. I was the thinnest girl in my class. I was seven years old and I was 130cm tall but I only had 20kg. I hated eating rice so I was as thin as a stick. I just like eating snacks so I didn't have any energy to walk, jump or run. I felt sick after P.E. lessons. My P.E. teacher, Miss Chow, asked me to eat more food. One month later, I still couldn't gain any pounds. I was upset.

Miss Chow asked about my eating habit. I had a packet of potato chips and a carton of orange juice for breakfast. For lunch, I had three bars of dark chocolate and some candies. For dinner, I had a bowl of instant noodles. I also had a stick of lollipop for dessert.

My mother and father were worried. They took me to see the nutritionist, Doctor Wong. Dr. Wong helped me to design a healthy diet. She suggested me to have a sandwich with tomato and cheese and a glass of milk for breakfast. For lunch, I had a bowl of rice, some chicken with a lot of vegetables. For dinner, I had a plate of spaghetti with meat sauce and some slices of fruit. I followed the meal plan. I kept on doing exercise.

One year later, I was very fit and strong. I became Class 5B's P.E. subject leader. I felt delighted and was proud of myself.
