A Letter to My Friend

Dear Peace,

How’s your day?

Bernice is my best friend. She is eight years old. She has big round eyes like shiny marbles. She has long black straight hair. Her face is round. She is fat about 30 kg but she is tall. She is 132cm tall.

Bernice’s favourite subject is English. She always gets high marks in tests. She likes reading English stories and watching English TV programmes. She is also brave enough to speak English with foreigners. In her free time, Bernice likes playing badminton. She thinks it is healthy. We always join together to play badminton. She likes going window shopping to see badminton rackets. She has three badminton rackets at home. Bernice likes playing badminton, but she doesn’t like flying kites or going hiking, because she feels hot and sweats easily. She is also afraid of mosquitoes. Moreover, she thinks it is too tired to walk on the steep slope. She can twist different shapes of balloons. She often takes some balloons to twist after school. Also, she twists balloons and makes some animals for others at parties. She can’t run fast, because she rarely does exercises. Also, she likes eating junk food, such as ice-cream, chocolate, candies and potato chips.

Bernice is friendly as she always shares food and chats with her friends at recess and after school. She is helpful too. She lends handbook to her classmates for references. She is active and outgoing. She likes doing sports, such as playing badminton and ice-skating. We like each other, so we always play together at school. We do things differently. I like dancing and going hiking but she doesn’t.

Please call me when you are free or write me letters. Keep in touch.

                                               Best regards,
Scarlett
