Last Monday was our Sports Day. It was cold and sunny. My schoolmates, teachers, parents and I went there. We arrived at Aberdeen Sports Ground at half past seven early in the morning. I was excited.
First, we had long jump. We needed to follow the rules. We must land in the sandpit with both feet. We could jump three times. The girl who jumped the longest would win. I was happy to watch that competition.
Then we had 100-metre race. We needed to run faster than others. Some runners did not stay in the lanes and they were disqualified. I got a medal in this race. I enjoyed it.
I got one medal in this Sports Day. It was fun and great. I hoped that I could have some more medals next time.
