Halloween is an old festival. It is on 31st October. People usually have costume parties. I like Halloween parties because they are wonderful.
Every year, my family have a costume party at home. I always invite my friends and schoolmates to my party. Some dress up as pumpkins. Some dress up as kittens. And some dress up as vampires. I like to dress up as a cowgirl. I wear a cowgirl hat, a white T-shirt with a little brown jacket, a pair of jeans and a pair of brown boots. I look cool.
We prepare special food for the party. We have spider punch, haunted chocolate house and taro cakes. They are soft, sweet and delicious. We prepare some games, too! There are a lot of games like face painting, trick-or-treat, carve a jack-o-lantern race and broom races. The games are fun. We all enjoy the playing and eating time. We have a chatting time later on. We talk with each other very happily.
Halloween parties are great and fun! I feel scared but still happy after the party.
