        I last wrote to you since school started. I'm busy preparing the fun fair at school. I'm writing to ask you a favor

        My school has a fun fair to raise money for charity every year. The fun fair will start from 20th December to 25th December. We'll help the poor families in China this year. They have difficult lives and I really want to help them. We can help the poor children by running some fund-raising activities for charity such as selling books to raise money, giving out leaflets to ask people to donate money. The donation can help them get a better learning environment. It can also help them to get more warm clothes and food. We can take part in a charity show to raise money, too. We can sing a song or perform a dance in the charity show. We can also set up the stage for the charity. We can even organize a play and invite friends to come to watch it.

        There are not enough schools for the children in China. They don't have chance to study. The books, textbooks and stationery are too expensive and the poor families can't afford them. There are not enough desks and chairs so they can't study in a comfortable place. They can't sit comfortably because the classrooms are too small for them. Some pupils have to stand outside the classroom and listen through the window. We can give a donation to some charity organisations such as Unicef, Oxfam and Crossroads. The donation can help the poor children to buy books and stationery. The donation can let the government in China build some new schools for the children, too. I know you are good at drawing. Would you please help us to design a poster for our fun fair? My school and I will be grateful if you can help us!
