My Autobiography

6B Casey Chiu

My name is Casey Chiu. I was born on 1st August, 2001 in Hong Kong. I am the eldest child in my family and I have a younger sister who is only six. She is studying in the Kindergarten of True Light School. She is helpful but naughty. I liked going to Disneyland when I was little. My favourite food is ice-cream of vanilla flavor. I like the novels written by Jin Yong because his books are both exciting and amusing.

There were both successful and unfavourable experiences in my life. Last year, I went to Mainland China with my classmates and teachers. When we were about to leave, I found that my passport was lost! I could not come back to Hong Kong! I was frustrated so I cried. The headmistress, the tour guide and I waited for my dad to pick me up. Dad and I applied the passport immediately. It was awful but fortunately I could go back home. I’ve learnt a lesson. I should take good care of my  belongings. Now, let me share with you one of my successful experiences. I learnt how to cycle in USA. I learnt cycling there since there were many people cycling around. It would be fun so I asked my parents and my cousins to be my tutors. But it was actually a difficult activity! I fell off many times and plenty of wounds and scars were found on my knees and legs. Yet I had no regrets since cycling was one of my favourite activities. I tried and tried and finally I succeeded. I learnt that we should never give up when we were in trouble.

I feel grateful to my best friend, Anthea. She always shares her joy and listens to me when I am unhappy or in trouble. She is kind and she always helps me with my homework. Thank you, Anthea!

I am looking forward to going to a secondary school. I want to be a fashion designer when I grow up. I would design lots of clothing and accessories. They will be special and wonderful. I hope I will have a meaningful and special life.
