The Wrong Bag

Henry and his friends went to school last Saturday for a rehearsal for the school play. Henry and his friends went to school by the MTR. Henry was a postman in the play so he had a green bag for letters. They had to stand on the MTR because the MTR was very crowded. A man in a brown suit stood next to them. He had a bag that was totally the same as Henry’s bag.

Henry picked up the bag when they got off the train. Evelyn heard the man shouting before the train doors closed. She couldn’t hear clearly what he said. The man was still on the train. He had a tall nose and a big mouth. He wore a mask too. He looked very nervous and angry.

Henry found that he got the wrong bag when he arrived at school. The bag belonged to the man next to them. They opened the bag and found that the owner’s name was Ken Wong. The bag was full of jewellery. They thought the man on the train was a thief.

The children did not keep the bag. They told Henry’s mum. His mum asked them to go to the police station. They went to the police station and gave the bag to the police. The police praised them for their honesty. They were happy. I like the children’s behaviour. What about you?
