School Picnic

22nd October was a special day for me because it was my school picnic! The weather was fine. We went to Yuen Long Park. Before we set off, Mrs. Ting reminded us to be clean and tidy. We also have to be nice to our classmates and speak softly on the coach. We got on the coach on Kennedy Road and set off at half past eight. I slept on the way to the picnic site. I needed to have lots of energy to play games.

We got off on Town Park Road North where the park was located. The bus trip took one hour and ten minutes to arrive at the destination. As soon as we got off the coach, some of us threwed up. I threwed up too. It was a bad experience. After we settled down, we took class and group photos. Then we had lunch at the grassy hillside. I ate pineapple’n’sausages, salad, sandwiches and a packet of chips for lunch. The food was yummy.

After lunch, my groupmates and I played games. Our first game is called “The Monkey and the Balls”. The ‘monkey’ have to catch the ball while the other players have to chuck the ball to others without letting the ‘monkey’ touching it. We also played “football with basketball” and “rolling down the hill”. We climbed the frames and trees. It was fun. Then, Mrs. Ng, our class teacher, called us for class games. I enjoyed them very much.

I felt tired on the way to school. I fell asleep on the coach. I would like to go there again in the future.
