School Picnic

I had my school picnic on 22nd October, 2012. It was a Monday. I went to Yuen Long Park with my classmates and teachers. I got on the coach on Kennedy Road. I set off at half past eight. The weather was hot. It was a sunny day. I played and took photos with my classmates on the way to the picnic site. It took an hour and eighteen minutes to arrive there. We arrived at the destination at nine forty-eight.

As soon as we arrived, we took our class photo with Mrs. Wong. We visited Aviary Pagoda and enjoyed panoramic views there. The Pagoda is on the top of the hill. We visited the pigeons. They are very cute. We also visited the large lawn and played badminton. I liked Aviary Pagoda most and enjoyed the panoramic views there. We had our lunch on the large lawn. I had sandwiches, sausages, chicken wings, shao mai and fish balls for lunch. They were tasty and fantastic. We played ball games on the large lawn. We played hide-and-seek behind the trees. I saw my classmates rolling down the slope. I also played on the see-saw with Renee and Esther. I played the climbing frame with Amanda who is from Class 5C. After playing a lot of things, I was very tired and thirsty. I went to the kiosk but it was closed on our picnic day, so I bought drinks from the vending machines. After a few minutes, we had our inter-class competition. We played paper-scissors-rock. Our class won the competition. We had a great time.
