A Letter to My Pen Friend

Dear Ella,

       How are you getting on? I am very busy with my school work.

      Last time, you told me about your family. It’s my turn to tell you about mine. There are four people in my family. They are my father, mother, grandma and I. My father is a Sales Director. He works in Wan Chai. He has many hobbies. He likes jogging and hiking. He also likes cooking in his free time. My father is helpful. He always helps with my housework and my revision. My mother is an Accountant. She works in City Plaza. She likes eating and shopping in her spare time. My mother is gentle. She does not shout at others. I love her very much. I also have a grandma. She is a housewife. In her spare time, she will play the computer games. I think she is the smartest person in my family because she is good at doing Maths.

       I like watching TV after school. I have some extra lessons. I have ballet lessons on Tuesdays and Saturdays. I sometimes visit my grandparents at weekends.

       Last Saturday was my birthday. My family and I had dinner in a restaurant. I ate a lot of delicious food! I had a vegetable soup, a plate of spaghetti with meat sauce. I drank a glass of appe juice ,too. Father, Mother and Grandma had vegetable soup. Father had steak. Mother ate salmon fish. Grandma ate roast chicken. My mother and grandma had orange juice. My father drank cola. I also ordered some dessert. I had jelly. Father and Mother had ice-cream. My grandmadid not eat any dessert. She does not like sweet food. I thought the food was so yummy!
