My School Picnic

                            We had our school picnic on 22nd October, 2012. We went to Tai Po Waterfront Park. The weather was sunny and hot. We went there by school bus. We chatted with our friends and looked out of the windows on the way to the picnic site.

               We arrived at the site at nine fifty in the morning. We first walked around the park. Then we went up the Lookout Tower to see the view of the sea. It was beautiful! After going to the Lookout Tower, we went to the Insect House. We saw some caterpillars and even some moths! Then, we went to the Amphitheatre to eat our lunch. I had some fishballs, sausages, jelly and some bacon and egg sandwiches. After lunch, we picked up the trash and played in the children’s playground. I had a good time with our teachers and classmates.

               We had to leave at half past one in the afternoon. Before we left, we packed our bags. I felt happy but tired after the picnic. I had a great day.
